I’m usually not an enthusiast for the “oh look at the fashions of the past, aren’t they - and by extension their wearers - ridiculous!” line of advertising, but this one, in support of the PSA’s campaign against public service cuts, is rather good. Its implication is the reverse of the image’s norm, since it’s the dude rocking the new wave suit who has a better-resourced work environment (although, sadly, he doesn’t know about the cuts that are just around the corner).
